Two years ago today, we bought The Bracy House. I recall feeling slightly sick after we signed the papers and wondered if we had made a huge mistake. It was the first house we'd ever owned (only condos and apartments for these city slickers), it was a total wreck that no one else wanted, and it was located 72 miles from our home base in Boston. This house has made our lives wildly more complicated but as with what often comes with complications, it has made our lives immensely richer and (we believe) happier. It's funny how after something unexpected happens, you often can't imagine life without it. And we can't imagine our lives without The Bracy House.
